The Penhall Company has immediate opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator to transport & operate bobcat and backhoe equipment in support of our service driven sawing, breaking and removal divisions.  The successful candidate will have specific equipment experiences in a demolition capacity and a Class A/Commercial Driver's License.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

- 3+ years previous heavy equipment operator experience with a S220 OR

  Cat 446 Backhoe with hydraulic breaker is required

- Mechanically inclined with previous equipment mechanics experience

  is a must; road and highway experience is a plus

- Current CDL Class A required 

- Working mathematical skills

- Applicant must have good safety record 

- Preferred but not required: experienced and efficient with break and removal

  of concrete sidewalks, reinforced concrete slabs, and footings

- Transport and operate Penhall Company's specialized heavy equipment safely

   and efficiently

- Interact with job site supervisors

- Responsibility of daily job related paperwork & safety planning for the job

- Inspection, repair & general PM maintenance, and cleanliness of all

  company equipment

- Responsible for safe operation of equipment

**Will cross train as a diamond concrete cutting operator to fill in when not running dump trucks. 


- Must have stable prior work history - 2 years or more continuous employment with same employer

- Must have verifiable previous employment

- Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random

- Pass a pre-employment background record (7 years) & periodical checks

- Clean 5 year MVR

- Manual dexterity and the ability to lift & be mobile with 45 or more lbs a must

- Ability to work days/nights/weekends - hours will vary based on customer needs.

- Must be authorized to work in the US

- Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must have steel toe leather work boots
