The Penhall Company, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative in Salt Lake City, UT to join our team.  We are looking for a fast paced and energetic sales representative to assist in the achievement, and act in support of sales for the Penhall Company.

Penhall has been the go-to concrete services partner for a wide-range of industries since 1957. What began as a single flat saw operation has developed into an expansive offering of concrete solutions, including concrete scanning, cutting, sawing and breaking/removal. Today, Penhall is the largest U.S. supplier of concrete services. Our capabilities and expertise span across 43 locations in 21 states & Canada.

The successful candidate will be a determined self-starter who is highly out-going, expected to be socially-poised when interacting with clients, must have the ability to work independently and be eager to execute a high volume of personal client interactions. At the same time, the candidate must be diligent and thorough in identifying and completing follow-up activities with prospects and clients.

 

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

-Answer incoming calls and establish relationships with customers by assisting them on phones and in representing the company in a professional manner.

-Prepare both verbal and written quotes to customer quickly and efficiently over the phone and in Salesforce.

-Accurately performs data entry into Salesforce of customer information and quotes to generate opportunities for Account Managers and other Penhall departments.

-Follow up with Account Managers in the field regarding opportunities that were created.

-Educates customers about Penhall and our services.

- Networking and prospecting for new customers

- Understands the needs of the customers and set their expectations in order to recommend specific services and solutions.

-Makes follow-up calls to potential, inactive and existing customers to solicit new additional business.

-Handles questions in a timely and professional manner.

-Evaluates and determines disposition of customer's needs.

-Maintains neat and professional area.

 

Requirements:

- College preferred, but not required, a minimum of a High school diploma or GED.

- 1+ year related inside sales experience.

- 2+3 years of customer service experience.

- Working in a team environment.

- Strong customer-service attitude.

- Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality.

- Good computer skills including MS Office programs.

Knowledge of CRM, preferable Salesforce.

- Good math skills and working with formulas.

Familiarity with construction is a plus.

- Work is usually preformed in an office setting. Travel, locally, in support of sales or training meetings, job site visits, job site walks, and/or tradeshows as requested.

- Must be flexible and have ability to work hours as directed or assigned, could very. Occasional evening and weekend work depending on business or customer requirements

- Be able to travel to customer job sites, locally, as requested. No overnight travel unless authorized or requested.

- Work closely with Account Managers in the field to support the sales process.
